Founders
White Buffalo Coffee Bar was born in 2017, by Jeremy & Jessica Buxton while their young family was stationed in Altus, Oklahoma. Jeremy transitioned from Air Force active duty as a KC-135 instructor pilot to USAF Reservist status, and set out to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams. Jessica’s background in hospitality and passion for the service industry made them a dynamic duo as they landed in the coffee world, creating White Buffalo Coffee Bar. Their vision was a safe, clean & welcoming space and a community-focused atmosphere centered around exceptional service, affordability, convenience, and yes, great Coffee.
The White Buffalo brand resonated with Altus and quickly became a local favorite for airmen passing through town and native Oklahomans, alike, while also providing exciting employment opportunities for the community. Jeremy and Jessica recognized they were part of something truly special and decided to permanently plant their roots in Oklahoma. Expansion was quick, yet intentional as they grew White Buffalo throughout Western Oklahoma (Lawton, Weatherford, Clinton, & Elk City).
The family relocated to Oklahoma City, with their five precious boys & two dogs, where they have continued to expand the brand. White Buffalo Coffee Bar opened locations in the OKC metro area, Texas (Wichita Falls & San Antonio), and Florida (Tampa). With 18 locations, Jeremy and Jessica are committed to remaining true to their “small town values, big city experience” ethos.
They are truly invested in both the professional and personal development of each of their incredible White Buffalo team members. They know they would never be here without the unwavering support of the communities they serve, the commitment & passion of their leadership team, and the pride & positivity of every barista who serves behind the bar.

DeAnna has been with us since 2017, starting with us as a barista before moving her way up to become a manager of our Altus locations - and a great one at that! DeAnna’s positive energy and kindness are infectious, and she really has created a work environment that feels like family.
HOLLY MORRIS

Starting in April 2022 to be an area manager, Holly has become an integral part of the team in the time she's been with us. Always going above and beyond to ensure that we have everything we need to succeed, Holly is the backbone of 3 locations! (Elk City, Weatherford & Clinton). She is always willing to step in and get the job done when needed and cares immensely for her team.

Mike comes to White Buffalo Coffee Bar with immense experience in the coffee industry. He is passionate about supporting & developing his baristas and loves connecting with guests on a daily basis. Ensuring quality, consistency, and top-notch service, we are proud to have Mike leading our White Buffalo team in the Sunshine State!

Amanda has been with us since 2021, and has long since been an essential team member. She is one of the most hard-working people we know, and is always making sure everything is running smoothly. We are so appreciative of everything she does for our business!
Sierra started as a barista at our Lawton location before rising through the ranks to become an integral part of our management team. What really sets Sierra apart is her amazing positive energy, and the way we know her staff and the rest of the management team love being around her upbeat attitude... it truly is contagious!
NADIA LUC

Nadia began as a barista in 2019 while stationed in Altus, OK with her husband. She loved the atmosphere, created lifelong friendships behind the bar, and was an overall rockstar team member. After a few years overseas Nadia relocated to San Antonio where she quickly became our Regional Manager, serving Randolph AFB & Port San Antonio. Her endearing personality and optimistic attitude make her a wonderful leader. We are lucky to have Nadia rejoin the White Buffalo family!
